That's because when I first signed up I quickly learned who knew their shit and who just "hung" around.

I read everything the big guys posted(most of the mods or OGS today)

and there were times where I was on here for like 35 hours straight with only minutes away from the site lol to eat, drive to work, and shit.

    On a sidenote-

at times I probably come off sappy....

its because the cb7 was my first car.

So no matter what happens here, this site will always be intertwined with my first car.

Yea I am damn near 3 years out of my last CB (which was also the last car I owned) but I'm still here

Always cool to see what people are doing and how the community is moving

I have a few friends from here too

The second will be MUCH easier if we are able to accomplish the first (and that will be the staff's duty... though suggestions from everyone else will be more than welcome.)
I agree with this. i have seen too many of the younger generation that can't type complete sentences because they are too lazy and then they expect us to sift through that to give them an answer to their problem? not going to happen with the way they typed their question. I have always strived myself to do a lot of reading on a subject before i ask any questions and to make sure people can understand what i am typing so i can get an appropriate answer. I suppose it's part of me being on the Autism Spectrum (i know most people don't believe that part but the more i read the more i know i have Asperger's) If i do type a question then it's because my question wasn't completely answered to my understanding in my searching and reading about it. I wish more of the younger generation was like that rather then typing the way that many do anymore.

We should make another forum to weed out the noobs before they are allowed to post in the noobs forum.

          jk

I'm just mad the hotties hotties hotties thread is gone. Can we fix that?

CB7Tuner is where its at for ANY information concerning the CB chassis or F & EVEN H series motors. I think CB7Tuner has information on the H series that could shadow that of even preludepower.

If not here or there, the information, whatever it might be, is SOMEWHERE on the web. You just have to search for it. Most people want to be spoonfed information on a silverplatter, even when the information might be only a few threads down.

Some questions are down right ignorant, and deserve a kick to the rear. In the past month their must have been 10 threads just on Legend Lips alone..... Other threads include crap such as "my car wont start idk why. i pressure washed the engine and it started up after that but now it wont start" or "my lights dont work idk why" 20 posts later "oh yeah i did a wire tuck but im sure it was done right cuz everything else works." "i did a swap but its running crappy" 20 posts later you find out the guy didnt use the proper ecu or is using some rigged up ghetto crap.

If someone has a legit problem with their car i have no problem helping them as much as possible but they should at LEAST have a LEGIT, Detailed, & CURRENT member ride thread with ALL of their mods to assist them. its like going in for a medical exam without doing the prepaper work. Dr.s dont know your previous med history or what could be going on with the current problem your having.

what people missed threw out the years is that we stop giving the information in a thread whenever we fixed the problem that we had with our cars. now when you search, you are bombarded with hundreds of thread stating the problem and no solution in the end.

lets start fixing what we missed and be more polite giving the info to the new members or old members for that matter.

                  change is good.
i myself started off on the wrong foot in the commune.
i dont apologize for being an asshole. its what makes me, me and not you.
i try to be civil with the stupid comments i get and put out a helping hand when i can. but this is what i see/read a lot in this great commune.
the nerve of some people who think everyone is on the same educational level as them. a simple response without the extra 2 cent would be nice. no one needs to feel stupid after trying to get some descent help from a brethren/sister on the forum.
reading and writing is a hard task sometimes when ADHD and dyslexia has you by the balls. its not simple like rotating your tires.
lets appreciate our common interest not down one another.
RIP 4/23/12...lets not forget, the 88" Z31 turbo, are my dailys

I got threatened with legal action because of that thread. Essentially, it's providing porn on a site that isn't registered to do so. I don't know my rights when it comes to that, but I didn't see it as being worth the battle, so I just deleted it.

I am one of the newer members here and I may not post a lot because I am still learning for my own benefits and I rather read other knowledgeable post before leading someone in the wrong direction, but I do agree with some of the sarcastic remarks that people give.

Dont get me wrong, everyone has a right to get mad over dumb questions but what I think is that if the person is clearly stating a question than they should get a clear answer and of course if the subject has been covered (thats about 99% of all the questions lol) then they should get nicely told to search for it and give maybe a link or advice on how to look it up. Yes that is technically some what "spoon-feeding" but in reality my generation does not know how to change a tire sadly, my point being that someone who ask a question like "how do I reset the red maintenance thingy on the dash?" may seriously have that small amount of knowledge about cars to where we think "wow is this kid dumb or what?" and even though we may think that we should still consider the fact of being polite regardless of the lack of knowledge there is between the OP and the people trying to help

Another thing is that many people on this site tend to curse, maybe there should be some light censoring of some sort? just a suggestion. Not like cursing helps out anyways, just makes you look like an ignorant person in most cases. Honestly a question that says "What the fuck is wrong with my dome light that shit never wants to fucking turn on?" just leads to replies that also curse and include sarcasm and have a negative outcome by the time you reach the last page of the post

Reason I replied to this thread is because I want to be a part of this community and its awesome knowing people who take pride in cars that are from 90-93. There have been so many people who ask "why you spend money on such an old car?" and in most cases I have no "legit" reason on why I do other than doing it because I like to. It feels awesome when a random stranger comes up to you and says "Hey nice car." Im pretty sure that many of us do it for the same reason too and there is nothing wrong with that, but we should just be more into helping each other out with a common purpose in mind.

If it wasn't for this site I would still be rolling in my accord OEM style (by the way not against anyone who likes OEM ) All I did to come across this site was search on Google one of the most common problems our car has and thats the Main Relay.

Ever since then I have always came back to this site on a daily basis just to read about random problems and issues that people have with our cars because one day I may very well have the same problem (also because there is MASSIVE amounts of information) and for the most part people are generous on a good day. In today's online communities there are not so many people that care like Deev, Jarret and many moderators who help out.

How some people say "thats my 0.02"
