Update

Thanks for the comments. so heres a update, its 3:03am just got home about a hour ago. had to tow the civic from 287 in New Jersey off Exit 1b. my friend that was up from North Carolina took my civic back down south and i had his truck until i head back down there in June. Will he calls me telling me that the timing belt broke on the highway. So i went down there and got the car with a 2 chains. got all the way to my town (about 5 mins from the houe or less) and a state trooper stops us. lucky us or me the state trooper knew me from a friend and let us go. damn we are lucky. so right now im off to bed, going to wake up in 5 hrs and call out. too fix my timing belt

nope thats my fault i did check it and it looked good. no cracks or nothing. i shouldve changed it i had the chance but i didnt

going to buy a new belt and water pump today. maybe the water pump seized? ill find out in a few hours

well water pump seized up. taking everything off and i noticed that the timing belt was replaced with a goodyear one. the water pump was replaced also.

yes sir no damage at all. will my friend that was driving it was only going 50mph when it snapped. so thank god it was at that speed
