So, it's official my Odyssey is going to be the trip's support vehicle. I didn't drill the crankshaft hole straight enough.

FFC brings there 1st gen Odyssey to Every CAM i have been too so why not it could be useful for flats or extra set of hands when maybe something breaks (granted were praying for a great trip) Btw if you need updated I am bringing my close friend for the trip.

Yes, I'll need a new crank. But, I need to think about this for a little while and examine my budget for this year. I'm the type of person that looks at a problem like this and says" well, if I have to do this, then I may as well do all of this other stuff while I'm there"

Fortunately the Ody doesn't need too much work to get ready for the trip.

Replace some bushings with EnergySuspension bushings

Before Road Trip To Do List:

-Front swaybar poly endlinks

-Bilstein shocks

-Get pads and rotors for rear disc conversion

-Install kill switches

-Lengthen wires and install o2 sensor back into dc header

-Oil/trans fluid flush

-Install poly tension rod bushings

-Replace tube seals and distributor cap/rotor, set valve lash

-Fix front bumper, which is cracked along the push rivets in some places

I don't expect to get all this done in time, but i'm hoping i can finish most of it so the drive is as comfortable as possible. I'd also love to get my windows tinted by then.

Confirm oil pan leak

Confirm rear main is not leaking

Reseal oil pan with new gasket and Hondabond at corners and arch

Oil/Filter Change

Adjust damping (6 to 8 clicks softer)

Check all fluids and tire pressures

Clean inside and out

- replace my passager cv joint I've been keeping a bandaid on
- debate if I'm going to replace my transmission
- Alignment
- probaby at least a CL rear sway upgrade
- hopefully replace my steering rack
-inspect timing belt's
- brake pads all the way around
- debate if I'm changing my exhaust
-debate I'm I'm going to install my hood bra (hate the idea of it scratching the hood.. was looking into then 3M clear but it seems that's $175 ouch)
It runs great just can hear that synchro on pulls from the read light does a quick squeal until your at speed 2nd has popped out just a few times so I don't think that tranny is up for a 1,000 trip

That's what I can think of at the moment got a pretty car but she needs some under the hood love
