The same reason his hood sits up in the back with spacers. Obviously honda engineers didn't know what they were doing when they designed the car.

well my car isnt a daily driver, and im pretty sure its not a 15 or 16 second car. it's my ghetto drag car, and every little bit helps

ya, look under the car and notice that usualy it is competely smoothed out with sheet metal so there isn't anything disrupting the flow of air under the vehicle.
