Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Check my members ride thread and c what I've done in just 3 months of getting my car and being new to the accord game. And I stated earlier in the thread after moving into my new home I would begin gathering parts for my swap. And I love haters that's what motivates meOriginally posted by GhostAccord View PostI give this build a 1 in 10 chance of coming to fruition. Not hating here! Just going off the law of averages for threads that start off such as this one has.
and im guessing ur giving me a 1/10 chance based on other members and what you have seen but just for future reference im not like most ppl, I do what I say and buy exactly what I want no matter the cost. And not to be a dick but don't place the doubt of not being able to do something into someone elses hands cause mine are full of confidence and the will to make it happen

ThanksOriginally posted by GhostAccord View PostDon't ever let the internet slow you down. Good luck with the K swap
the hardest part of starting the build for me is gettin in to my new home and gettin settled. Its all downhill from there lol

People who do a swap like this do not make a thread asking for opinions/ help... They just do it.... Its been done by what under 10 private individuals I am guessing.. I looked at your members ride thread ... The ebay coil-overs and crazy camber do not scream someone doing a one in a thousand swap like you think... The grounding kit doesn't help either. I hope you get it done but I understand his doubt...Originally posted by Dy2*STR33T-KING View PostCheck my members ride thread and c what I've done in just 3 months of getting my car and being new to the accord game. The grounding kit I've had layin around for 2 years and its still sittin around. The ebay coilovers was a way to dump it until I buy my tein setup and the offset was to prove to a few ppl who like yourself couldn't do it. I love u guys though cause I've owned alot of cars and everytime I do a build ppl say the same things. Example when I converted my dpfi ef hatch to mpfi ( didn't just buy harness) or swapped 4 of my civics. So like I just said a few hours ago, don't doubt ppl u don't know. The k swap is only hard if u make it seeing as u can buy everything to do it. All it takes is man hours and the dedication to put those hours in. Just remember u make your own limits no one elseOriginally posted by ChIoVnIdCa View PostPeople who do a swap like this do not make a thread asking for opinions/ help... They just do it.... I am pretty sure no one doubts you could dump an accord on cheap coil-overs and run a dumb offset...Originally posted by Dy2*STR33T-KING View PostThe grounding kit I've had layin around for 2 years and its still sittin around. I hope you get it done and take and document the project but the people that actually do this do not make a thread like this... They just do it...
But this is getting way off topic... I hope you get it done.. And start it soon.

Can we not just give the guy advice and quit acting like 4 year olds? Ya'll are trying your very best to convince this guy he does not have what it takes to do the swap. I do not understand this.
Edit to op:
I learned this with my bisi header thread. If you completely ignore anyone who posts something negative, I mean don't even whisper their existence, they will eventually either quit or be banned. Just ignore them. I also recommend starting a new, clean thread and deleting this one.Last edited by 19dabeast85; 04-20-2011, 09:37 PM.My Member's Ride Thread

Maybe becuase Mr K swap had to pay big bucks and spend a lot of his own time doing the research with another company. I can see why he might not be so forth coming to some noob with his hands out. I always viewed this as a give and take sort of hobby
Or maybe he just figured that someone might be able to perform a 5 second search and find this K swap thread,

Did what research??? He dropped his car off at hasport, they put the motor in, made the adapter harness, and did the work. Other than the mounts you use the exact same parts a civic/integra/prelude owner would.( oh and so you know, they only make one mount that is strictly for the cb, the others are for the bb prelude and ek civic). so what are you talking about???Originally posted by GhostAccord View PostMaybe becuase Mr K swap had to pay big bucks and spend a lot of his own time doing the research with another company.
