I dunno about the H23 head swap..but the F22B is easy as hell

    Comment

view my thread... ahaha pwned.. umm its not difficult.. time consuming.. ?? somewhat..

removing the f22a head doesnt take much.. u can remove the intake manifold with it all together.. for quick removal.. then unbolt the f22a manny if u dont get a h23a/f22b intake manny..

just a matter of u being able to do everything.. like i said before.. ill walk u through it.. if need be..

<dieing inside to reveal my current project! but must wait...

stop dissing on me! bastard.. there both the same.. the only difference is the h23a head as a small blind spot.. that needs some honda bond=5buxs wowwww.. lol..

straight forward thou.. and h23a heads are easy to obtain not so true for f22b dohc heads..

i would love to do the F22B swap..... however there is no place to by just the head..... i already have a H23 Intake Manifold and the H23 stock fuel rail..... i got both for $100 however its not here yet...... would the head swap make a large increase in power? would it be beneficial for boost applications?..... -justin-

Yes you will get more hp and tq. from this swap..It is great for turbo applications due to the added tunability via individual cam timing, and more aggressive cam profiles

yes and yes.. increase in power definetly.. u wont see full h23a power.. due to lower compression.. and benefical for boost?? fuck yes..

twin cam= more tuneability.. and the fact that the h23a head flows more cfm than the f22a in stock trim.. (alias the hp increase)

and if u consider more work.. applying a tube of honda bond to one spot.. u dont deserve to do this mod.. lol GOES OUT TO U FUSHIGI!

Thats a good question...I have an employee in Japan that can't even find one...its just the luck of the draw...The head I got was from PRIMOCB7 and had bent valves due to hydrolocking which is no big deal becasue it is getting a full rebuild and tuning via our head tuning department.
