About 6 months before it broke down. I drained every ounce of gas that was in her. I put 5 gallons of 93 Octane with some STP fuel injection cleaner in the tank this past Saturday.

I have two big problems to address. I guess the fun doesn't stop.

          1. I have a water/coolant leak behind the T-Stat housing. That'll be no problem to get to and fix because of...

          2. I have an oil leak which seems to be originating at the rear left of the engine where the head and block mate I believe. I have to take the head back off and investigate the problem. While I have the head off, I'll tackle number 1.

EDIT: Maybe the service bolt is missing.

It was the service bolt for the balancer shaft as mentioned. I picked up a M12 x 30 1.5mm pitch bolt (all I could find), used a nut and some washers to shim it until I install the correct bolt and washer.

All I have to do now is address the leak which I ordered both seals from Honda for the rear water pipe that runs along the back of the block, correct the idle issue, install my axles and sway bar links, bleed my breaks, and test her out.

More pictures to come soon, then everything will be back to my MR thread.

                          Swap is 95% complete.

She runs excellent right now, but...

on my PT6. The P13 I have will run the car, but it's faulty somehow. A new one is on the way.

It idles very smooth with the PT6 at ~800 (after setting base idle). I even open the throttle to about 3k, and she was very responsive and smooth every throttle tap. Then she would return like normal back down ~800rpm. Feels good. I began putting everything back together, so the toughest thing I have left to do is bleed my brakes...

u can use some pointers from me

I seen u on my thread before " im back with a h22 swap" the problems you are running into is exactly why i took the time to replace all those seals. eliminates do overs and frustrating repairs that could have been much simpler when the engine was out of the car. Plus i hate when oil gets on stuff... i learned the hard ways lets save other member from the headAches

All my seals are replaced basically.

My problems was electrical related mostly. The very minor leaks I have can be fixed with taking off anything except for the coolant neck.

                                Thanks for sharing nevertheless

Edit: You were referring to the rear water pipe. I had took care of that when the engine was out of the car. Somehow the seal managed to get twisted in the seal groove. Took the T-Stat housing off, 5 minutes, fixed.

However, I do agree with replacing everything when the engine is out of the car.
