No up-close pics of those, as they are long gone. It was only a semiflat black rattle can job. I did that to mask all of the road rash and curb marks done by the previous owner. But hey, I got them for free!

Well fellas, I have some good news and some bad news....


The good- I now have a H23 transmission for my H22A that's in the garage.



The bad- the H23A1 jumped timing at 70+ mph.



I have yet to dive head first into the engine bay enough to completely assess the damage, but I'm expecting the worst.

Anyways, if yours is like 2 other Honda motors that I know jumped timing recently, you will probably have one piston that is totally fucked up because it whacked the cylinder head pretty hard.

The rears? No, not that I was aware of.

The fronts took some abuse when I first lowered it, but the grooves have worn in nicely since.
