I found out some good news and some bad news. The camshaft I got from bisi is smaller than I thought. He told me .448"in/.450"ex & 250*/252*. The cam as per WEB Cams is .364"/.320" & 211*/222*. That's a pisser and a blessing all in one. I hate I didn't get what I wanted but there is a lot left on the table to be had. I'm thinking of the type-S h22 cams as a reference point. Also I'm going with the euro-r transmission. For now I'm just going to sell my bisimoto header and focus on a better transmission.

ok so i have a new experiment. im currently planning to do a x-brand header that is 1"7/8 primaries, 2" downpipe runners and i am switching to a 2.5" collector and comparing it to my bisimoto header. also planning to build a custom short ram intake to test as well. after considerable intake manifold testing i've come to the conclusion the stock h23 intake manifold with double stacked iab plates and the plentum modified to fit a 68mm tb is the best setup for my current camshaft. car pulls strong but i miss my closer gear set . as funny as it sounds the car with the new cam is proving to be down by 8-10whp vs my old cam. still 170-173whp averaging but sucks when you're used to 178-180whp. all other issues like my rocker arms and what not are fixed along with i finally got the exhaust to quit leaking. once i get my hondata s300, my new cam and an exhaust setup figured out im looking to finally go full 200+whp and with a t2w4 trans and maybe a slightly tighter suspension i'll be a mid-high 13's car. will post new acceleration vids with my crappy old stock trans. i love where i work. i have a 3 mile straight test road behind my work. after hours its my playground

Ahh ok I was wondering what was going on with the intake... so will it fit just bolt on or do you have to mod the fire wall?

Can't wait to see those header comparisons i hope to god a $1000 header beats a $70 generic as fuck slightly modded ebay header by a land slide although it would be a WOW moment if it doesn't.

Oh btw quick F22 bud and nice numbers aswell.

                          Awesome build thread man

Im very interested about this intake situation as well, im sick of my pieced together a6/h23/h22 mani and a skunk2 one is so ideal

                          Looking forward to your results

Proof you should never leave your Hood unlatched. Skunk2 intake, Bisimoto header and adapter all gone. Been meaning to post. now all I have is this

my eBay header and h23 intake. I'm lucky I had not put the throttle body on and it was locked in the trunk along with the intake and the eBay header.
