Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Made intake piping bracket to hold up filter-end of intake system, it's solid and based of a tranny mount stud to move with the motor and not frame. Painted it black, blends in like stock, even made a semi-circle cutout for lower radiator hose clearance.

Anyhow, some minor bodywork I want done is next, then fuel tank installation and creation of 3" exhaust.

However, I found today being under the car that Prothane can lick my balls. Them rear lower control arm bushing sleeves are moving independent of the lower arm bore itself, so I can knock with mallet the arms back and forth. Some press-fit that is. I hate doing things twice and it has ALWAYS been because of aftermarket quality/fit & finish issues!! It's pissing me off, seriously! So to solve it, I'm removing them d**n lower arms again, removing the poly bushings (keeping metal sleeve in lower arm bores) and tack welding the metal sleeve to lower arm, then reinstall everything. This crap is depressing to me.

So things are tight, but on track to be done before Monday 10 am when I have my initial dyno appointment. I'll be working on this up to Friday, not Saturday and if I have to Sunday. Monday, hopefully just loading the car onto a trailer or if we have time, before.
