On impulse I built this stabilizer rig today for some upcoming events where I hope to be taking a lot of video. After a simple test of the unit I am very impressed by the sturdiness and the steadiness in use.

I definitely will, this was thrown together last minute for a trip I'm taking this weekend. The biggest change I already need to make is to get a quick release for the camera mount and to get some cold shoe mounts up top for a mic and Zoom H4 recorder.
