What car would you buy with $15k?

So here is the scenario, you have $15k cash to purchase a stock car, any make or model but it has to be fun to drive. Your aim is to stay at the close to the max so you get the newest model or lowest miles...what would you get?

*No "buy a cb and boost it" or any BS like that...car should preferably be a 2004-2012 model.

Wait until someone else takes a new one off the lot, then it will be.

A red IS300, in manual. 15k is the budget for my next car, and I've been spending quite a while trying to find the perfect car for that price lol. An Altima SER, 2007 accord EXL sedan V6 6 speed or 2009-2011 civic SI would also be sick.

I've only been looking a sedans as you can see lol.

edit: a 2003-2008 Legacy GT would be next if I can't find an IS300.

Can I trade in my car?

If I could trade in my car towards a new one and use that 15k also, I hunk I would get a 8th gen Civic SI.

If I can't use my car as a trade in then I'd probably get a 5spd Fit.

If i had to choose, i'd get an AP2 S2000. Huge fan of Honda and RWD. A damn sexy car. 15k should cover it and then some...

What about a bike? This is $15k...

Ok, we are in the same boat....ive looked at all those and the Altima SER is appealing for some reason even though my mind keeps saying its just an Altima.

interesting open there....the s2000 is too small for me but a very good option for the price

V6 manual sounds good to me. 07 accord v6 6 is really hard to find, so I guess alternatives would be a Altima ser or even a Mazda 6 6 spd, only problem is the GT's are well over 17 grand still lol.

Something used, definitely. The difference in prices between lightly used vehicle and stuff still on the lot will let you move up in terms of the quality of car you can look at.

You could pick up a used 2004 Acura TL with average miles for a car of that age for around $15,000. The TSX is a good option, and you could find one that's newer and has few miles for the same price as the TL. However, you really should go and sit in everything you're interested in since you say size is a concern.

The TL has plenty of room. Truth be told, I feel like a little kid driving them because of all the room. Then again, I'm 5'6" and 140lbs so I'm probably a poor person to determine if a car is big enough.
