    Still runs fine, hopefully its only a bad radiator since I'm broke.

      A half gallon is a lot of coolant Gary. Keep a close eye on it and see if you can find any signs of leaks.

        Fix the leak first. I have a block tester that will tell u if the head gasket is bad or not.

          Apparently it was all the radiator. After battling with an ill fitting pos aftermarket radiator whose fins bend if you look at em funny there is no more sludge in the overflow. When i drained the old radiator it appeared to be coolant with spots of red oil. Of course after all that the heater suddenly doesn't work despite the valve seaming to work fine and the cable has possibly snapped. Sweet.

              kinda late but there is a two-wire plug used as a jumper in the driver's side kickpanel fusebox, and it's yellow like the rest of the srs harnesses. it may be plugged into the fusebox but there shouldn't be anything on the fusebox side, it's just a holder. or it could be just off to the side.

              jump it as you would a CEL with ignition on and count the blinks of the srs light.

                ended up replacing the tranny for a new one. crappy honda v6 transmissions! but she drives even better now.

                                FAILED smog 3 times with new 3 way cat and EGR ports cleaned

                                1st time i smogged didnt do anything to the car at all and failed with nox at 2800

                                2nd time i smogged i swaped to the h23 intake manifold and throttle body
                                let me mechanic drill my egr port for me, he said he only needed to do the one on the very end and then used a clothes hanger to clean out the carbon build up. then used compressed air and carb cleaner to clean out the path from the one end to the other. reduced nox to about 2200

                                3rd time i smogged i got a new 3 way catalytic converter and reduced nox to about 1000, max allowed is 799. im SO close to passing, only about 200 off the allowed amount

                                things that i have not done yet:
                                change sparkplugs, distributor cap, rotor, pcv valve, oil change, clean AEM dryflow air filter, and seafoam
                                all of these things are due for a change, but would they affect my emissions?
                                car was warmed up everytime

                                im thinking about trying the thing tiimmy0tool did to pass with the seafoam
