    I got a flashing D4 light in my daily.. Jumped it and it's a code 9 (defective countershaft speed sensor.

    anyone change this before? know the location?

        craig, I looked up that code and it will either be a bad sensor, or a bad tcu. I have a p19 tcu sitting if u just want to try that out to make sure that it isn't the tcu. diagnostic is gonna take take time measuring voltages and getting resistance checks at the sonsor, harness, and at the pcm to the tcu, etc.

        165 hp 149 ft. lb. torque sohc non vtec. then....
        184 whp and 149 ft. lb. torque f20b stock now......

          Man i hope its not a bad TCU Thanks Joe, I got a spare TCU somewhere from my cb7..
          I'll let you know what comes about. Today I'm going to change out the counter shaft speed sensor and see if that cures the blinking d4 light..

              make sure the connections on the igniter is tight.

                my turn with the problems..
                my car feels like i've lost a lot of torque. would i lose so much torque due to exhaust leaks on the downpipe? I feel the car's acceleration sort of cut back at around 3-4k rpm. usually worse when it's on a hot day. makes me feel i'm driving in an F again.

                      My trip odometer stopped working on the TL. It has the rotating numbers like the cb, so I was hoping maybe someone knew if it is possible to fix it? I haven't had the chance to take out the cluster and look at it myself.

                                hahah it's a jdm H with H23 trans

                                i do have a US H trans tho. Thinking about swapping it on. But I freeway drive a lot and im happy with my 27.5ave mpg / tank
