Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Community. Sorry to inform you. This morning early.. 2to630am my car was brokenn into again..

    This time they went in the trunk.. took some cheap tools, funnels, hammers, jumper cables and my almight jumper cable pack with the 12volt.. I had for 3 yrs came in handy... gone..

    Thing is.. they dropped a lot of the stuff. Hammers, light bulbs, funnels.. it was spread out in the street and neighbors property... they did go in the car also. But from last time I don't have a radio.. so they didn't find 1. I also lock my glove box now.. and I did... and they broke the lever.. so I can't open the box... ANY IDEA ON HOW I CAN OPEN IT??


    ALSO PLZ IF YOU NO ANY CHEAP AFFORDABLE ALARMS SEND ME A PM..

    Something to where if the trunk, hood and door open the siren will go off. Also I want a uniquee siren not the same ol ones going off. And 2 will b added cuz I hve 1 siren in the basement.


    Plz help me. 2 times in the past month and ahalf..

      Sir, I think it's time to move to a better location. I work on cars for a living and use to work for AAA as a tow truck driver and I know for a fact, a alarm won't help. It's very easy to get into our old Hondas.

        Thanks. How ever I just can't up and leave. Deaing with a sick mother in the hospital rite now for kidney issue, still grieivin over the death of my stepdad. No bros or sisters. Just me, and granny mom. A sudden move just won't happen.

        A alarm would help for the ease of knowin when they r breakin into it. My coupe was not as nice as my sedan... and had a alarm and didn't get touched once.

          I'm sorry to hear about the issues. Maybe you should just keep the car stock looking for the most part. Atleast till you live in a better area, a good thief won't care if you have an alarm tho. I'd rather waste the money on a video cam facing the car so then you can catch the thief in action and report it.

            I just seen the fucker. No inner lights. Only outter with small led bar. Seems 2 b a 4 dr. Saw from 3rd window in room.. where my car us usually parked.. he went up my street. Didn't see my car. Made a left, backed up, made a right on 14th. Did a uturn. And went down the st. I was chasin after him.

            Next block over. Friend has a cg.. with cameras and they still stole from him. Rear visor and something else. He went stock look now. But has bb6 wheels

              have an alarm installed with airhorns!! it wont stop them from coming back but itll be LOUD as F***!! i hate THIEVES!!

                    Wind 1 fiberglass hood 0

                    Wind was so strong it went all the way bck 2 my winow nd craccccck said the fiberglass hood. So i put gorilla glue inbetween so it can hold its shape using 2 spring clamps. Dam u wind.

                      I hate when that happens! Did you have it open working on it? Or did the latch fail? Didn't break the windshield?

                        Had it open MrK.. and the wind took it. Didn't crack the window. What I did was put gorilla glue in the crack.. its hard because the cold didn't let the glue flow out well. But I got enough to put in the crack. And I applied 2 spring clamps. Heavy duty.. and made them 1 again. I did that so it can have some structure inheritence to it. So when I open the hood it won't flap and crack the outside. So far ok.. its still clamped, ill undo it 2morow and take more pics. Nice to hear from u mr k!

                          I'm glad it didn't break the windshield. Mine is only two years old in Ruby and it has a crack running straight up in front of me and recently ran all the way across the bottom. It's bothering me enough that I may have it replaced (just got a promotion and a raise). If the Gorilla Glue doesn't hold, get some auto body panel adhesive. It is pricey, but it really holds (used it around the wheel wells when putting quarters on Ruby).

                                Whoa.

                                We were just talking about this happening as we loaded my car onto the trailer. My hood isn't bolted down, but my cousin was like, "yo, that thing will fly up and off."

                                What happened to make it come up?
