Oil in chamber 2 3 4. Its been a year and change Since I got the seals done. Sooo New head gasket seal it is

Any recommendations on how to avoid this or is this just a sign its time to save for a H22 swap

you just need to put o-rings under your valve cover, not a new headgasket...it a very very simple fix and you wont have oil in your plugs anymore

Did to you get the lower spark plug seals changed or the upper ones. If you changed your upper last year then they should still be good, your lowers would need changing and that would require you to remove your rockets. I don't think a bad headgasket would leak oil into a spark plug chamber. Lastly, any man saving for an h22 would never replace a headgasket on a sohc. Just too costly and time consuming.

But I did go out today and got to work and man let me tell you its a big change.

All is need Is to shampoo the carpet to add the finishing touches.

Ok so I found a set of these bad boys locally for a GREAT PRICE that I couldn't let it pass me by ,

All 4 brand new in org box, plastic , stickers hardware.



Turns out the org owner got them for his CD5 , crashed the car , never installed , stored in his garage for almost a year..

Picked a new black glove box ( Thanks CBAccordA4) , No more tilt and sag box. Lol

Went to the Garage today and the fellas help me redue the Valve cover gasket and the new upper tube seals.

As you can see the gunk , on the floor as well as on the rear side of the valve cover that was being cleaned

New NGK Sparks went in

Damn you work fast man, next weekend check the spark plugs for oil again then you know its definately the lower seals. Did you get Honda OEM shit???
