its supposed to. haha us brown guys are limited to certain things we cant do now. people think im indian sometimes. or around here theres lots of philipinos, so they think im one of them.

no it doesnt i think the next model up does BIGRICH has it. but i dont really need it to tilt. and i actually got to watch a skate video waiting in traffic today!

Yeah, I suppose like a VW, but from the perspective of someone who works on them on a daily basis, I'd associate the sound more with an Infiniti M series. I don't particularly care for VW's. They're well built, but just a lil annoying to work on sometimes.

yah my mom had an 01 jetta had oil issues, got rid of it for a ford escape hybrid, that had issues too.... it was a golf cart. not she has a 2012 escape a big step up but i like my CB better.

edit: and evry jetta ive been in smelled like crayons

I think it has something to do with the materials they used for the trim plastics and whatnot. I mainly work on mk5 GTI's and GLI's, a diesel or two here and there and some of the 2.5L Jetta's. They're not bad once you get used to them, but there are just some things that leave me scratching my head thinking, "Why the hell did they do it that way?" Pray you never have to do a headliner in one. That's the stuff nightmares are made of.

haha probly. i wish i could somehow utilize the cup holders in the jetta into the cb. i think they would be more functional that way. or come up with something else that fits in there.

nope.....mine is the 418 and looks just like yours but with b/t. the 719 is the one that tilts

got bored today re-painted the grille emblems to match the spark plug wires sort of. this one is almost like a color change






also put in a switch to control my antenna

- new spark plug wires Done
- new cone filter Done
- DC sports header and new gaskets up to cat
- remove sheared off exhaust manifold bolt and replace
- add horn honk with my alarm
- achieve nirvana regarding retrofit

Just make the car into what you want it, thats what its about.

Also the engine bay, have you cleaned it or was the car garaged or has it got very little miles? It has that new car look on all the bits.

alex we for sure need to chill one of these days. Work kinds sucks with time off and it's hard to cram things into my weekends. But around christmas I should have vacation.

I did clean the engine bay and everything when I got the car, I worked at an auto detail/body shop so I give it the best I have. As for it being garaged, I think it was at least parked in a car port because there is still fading of the rear seat head rests.
