Well yes it makes it easier to have nothing in the way at all. But the main purpose was for the wire tuck, painting the radiator support and engine bay, re-painting the headlights, and various other little things.

Haha The car has more sentimental value to me than anything. I could have easily started with a fresh chassis rather than do all the work I got done, but to me it just wouldn't have been the same. And thanks man I appreciate the kind words.

ohhh lol... i smacked the crap out of it with a ball-peen hammer and trimmed the front edge of the upper control arms as much as safely possible. Lol. It just took a lot of trial and error. So far this solution has worked well on both of my cars. Even on my coupe, which sits even lower. If you need me to get into even more detail id be glad to help.

Yes absolutely remove the control arm out of the way. And by doing that the steering knuckle will also be out of your way.
