also, got a cheap 'roof mount' antenna on ebay for 16$. Looks like the s2k mod but a LOT less!!! saved a few lbs getting rid of the motor. Still worked fine and will sell... basically trading the seatbelts, antenna, and anything else I can to try to even out what I'm adding. Hah right now with nothing inside it's at least an inch higher than already high lol! Even my mom noticed!

little update...

yeah I just got my glasspack resonator, didn't know it was gonna be a glasspack by the listing so I'm happy!

no 6x9's so I got another pair of alpine typeS 5 1/4's
2xpairs of 4" alpine typeS one for custom front pods other in matching older style blue/black for the trunk to show off.
New non powered antenna (kinda like s2k style but MUCH cheaper+lighter!)
pc is going back in!!!! 15" TOUCH screen suckas!! pimpinnnnnn
more sound deadening
exhaust gonna get done in the next week or so finally

omg omg my car is soo stripped right now. like in teh nude inside! it's got a seat, steerin wheel and cluster.

will have a radio with this new clarion hu I got, plus the pc is going back in, but it's gonna fit a lot better this time b/c i am moving/modding some things with the dash removed. awesommeeee yeah 15" touch screen for just over a bill! can't beat that! crappy 15" car screens start at 3-500$

I persoanlly can't stand swade, for 1 reason, it's gets dirty so freakin easy.. but it sure does feel nice, lol

yeah, I like this stuff though, it's not as deep of a pile as suede but still feels pretty nice. Not cleaning it with a paper towel! lol...

I've got the weather seat type fabric for the insterts though, I should be able to 409 those.

MAJOR projects underway!!!

So I made two threads since I'm doing a WHOOLLE lot at the same time... could have done more! lol

So far I'm SOO glad b/c the auto seatbelts are gone and racing harnesses will FINALLY get used... Just had to get a longer bolt for the rear pair of seat bolts and some washers and voila, I'm strapped down! no pics yet of that though sorry!

But audio progress will be here,

sound proofing, new headunit, wiring amps, glassing custom trunk ...

and interior here (what's posted here already for more discussion when ppl search in that section of the forum)

personally knowing how to do custome fiberglassing. i know that it will add more weight especially if you put the layers it needs to hold up over time, but by all means i am sure it'll look good.

tis what you think! but alas, I have my ways. It's going to be awesome, It won't really be much change in weight and I might carve some of the glassing away from the dash. But we'll see..
