i gotcha. it all depends on the image, the easyshare doesnt react the same way a slr would so i cant really help much with that question, sorry.

Well I got a 55-200mm for christmas/birthday and its pretty nice. Has VR and AF. It was somthing like 150 dollars. For the price its just right for what I do with it.

And when changing iso/white balance is a chore. And when lenses cost way to much. And when it doesn't have bracket exposure. And the list goes on.

Its not a chore if you are in manual mode. Exposure is adjustable with the slider by your thumb, and iso and whitebalance are right on the display. If you are in normal modes, yes it is a chore to go to the menu and change them.

Yeah, but other camera's have iso buttons and such, I believe. It just wears on me. I dunno, I'm picky about those things. I hate my iPhone because it doesn't have app switching. I'm now selling it. I haven't had much time with other higher end nikons though, so maybe I'm mistaken. No focusing in the body is annoying though.

Those first 2 shot are sick! That last one is cool as you can't really tell were the water meets land.
