40d if im not mistaken.... thats really weird cuz i shoot all my club images at iso 1000 and dont even get that much noise... and im also using a 40d

Too be honest I kind of like those originals better.

Original of one of the non-angled garage shots? I think those could turn out quite nice. I'm not sure where that noise is coming from.

Maybe he tried sharpening the images. It must have been in editing.

Still looks like he has quite a bit of noise on the originals. I lilke to shoot 200-400 during the day depending on light and I shoot a max of 800 if I'm shooting cars at night.

But if you're using photoshop to edit your pictures, download the NoiseNinja plug-in. It's the most awesome tool ever for noisy pictures.

they seem maybe 1/3 stop underexposed and correct exposure also takes away some noise. still these look a bit more noisy then they should be for 400 iso. the 40d handles high iso very well. ive gotten images ive used at 1600. im not sure whats up with these images. i have noticed that the exposure adjuster on photoshop will add a bunch of noise.

the images were shot when the sun was at its lowest during the day, 15 min after I shot the rolling shots the sun was down. im guessing that may have been why the pix are high in noise or cus my lens are crap and i need better ones haha
