I'll eventually make one.

Yes they're Nippon pistons. They're cheap so I bought them to measure and weigh. My scale in the garage can do .1g and I have micrometers. So if they end up being off, then I'll scrap that idea and order some forged or oem pistons. The scale in the office isn't as accurate but they all measured 14.2 oz with the pin. Which is about 402 grams.

bring it back to or as close to factory condition as I can. Throw on some nice light weight wheels and improved suspension and just enjoy it

It is sad no one does flip-up lights anymore. Is it just an aero thing, or are there bs safety regulations against them?

They are complex and cost more than projectors, which also have more design flexibility. They were simply obsoleted by technology, although I also tend to much prefer them over sports cars with fixed lights.

1) I needed something to record the cops when they pull me over.
2) There are a lot of really bad drivers in LA.
3) I'll be able to add more pics to the The "OMG! WTF? Did you do to your vehicle?" thread. I almost never seem to have my phone ready in time for the shot.
