Spring West Coast CB Road Trip!

I plan to drive by Laguna Seca tomorrow. I know they have a gift store that's open 10am-5pm. But does anyone know if I can watch or walk around the place? Tomorrow Hooked On Driving is having HPDE/HPDS at Laguna Seca and I was hoping to just sit in the stands, view first hand and listen to that beautiful track music.

For something like that, they very well could. I have walked in for car club track days before, but that was with my dad, who was special events security as a Sergeant of CHP. I'm so glad I live 40 minutes from that track! I don't see anything on their calendar that says it's a closed track tomorrow.

I go when I get invited to sing the anthem, and sadly, they only have opening ceremonies for the largest events, and you definitely don't just walk into those.

I know what you mean, that track music is unforgettable!

Say, if you want to go see some dirt track action tomorrow night around 6pm in Watsonville, I can get you in for free. They'll be 360 Sprints! I'll just be leaving right after I sing to go get as much shuteye as I can.

It can be very relaxing. When I have trouble sleeping I use youtube track day recordings as white noise.

Hey guys. I just want to wish you all the best of luck tomorrow. I am really curious as to how everything turns out. Maybe even change CAM Caravan to follow this route if successful. Or it can remain an independant event.

From My experience, The pit stops are the best. Makes it difficult geting back in the car to keep on schedule. You will see though first hand.

This route will take longer, but it will be so much more beautiful than I5 or 101.

Tishock, Lucien, I want to thank both of you for making this trip a success. You both did everything you could to make it happen, and it did happen.

Despite the different goals we have for our cars, we can all agree that we love Laguna Seca. Mark my words, I will do everything in my power to get us there out on that track one day in the future. As for the Motorsports Reunion this August, I will be in touch

To all of you who couldn't make it, I'm sorry to say that you were missed and that you missed out.

It was a good time! I met 3 cool new people, got to show off my currently janky project car and got to attend at least the last part of the meet.

AF, his fiance, and Tishock were welcoming and kind. Definitely true gear heads!

Just a couple of pics. I should have cleaned my windows before we took off. This was an awesome trip af_1132 put together and thats him in front. I'm glad I upgraded my Ody's suspension or else I really would have struggled on those many long winding sections of this trip. I hate that I forgot my gopro and my camera. I missed so many great shots.
