ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

it is...then you have the headache of re-wrapping it. Another member is doing the swap and flocking the dash rather than upholstering it.

well.... i saw this thread a million and one times and never thought to look past the first page, i got up early this morning and figured what the heck, so i looked through it, and no matter what a car looks like, if its a honda with a custom body kit or a dub with some fancy interior i always give props to the builder, fabricator, worker, whatever it may be, even if it looks like crap.... i read throughout the thread and i am utterly astonished, the craftsmanship you put into the car with the front end swap, and interior, is unbelievable, i will say it now and over again, congratulations. you and your car render me speechless. prolly one of the best and well rounded cars on the forum, and one of the cleanest and best looking by far, congratulations.

                    quick update

One visor done! My friend just sent me this picture, it looks great! The OEM visors are simply a metal wire frame with foam moulded around it and then heat stamped vinyl pressed over that. Because there's no rigidity to them it makes them hard to wrap. I shortened the wire frame by cutting sections out and re-welding it back together. He made the new visors using different materials and stitching it closed.

yea, but it's probably not that great for imaging anyway, tweets should always be as close as possible to the mids. I had tweets in the door panel right in front of the handle trim. I removed them and filled in the hole before having the panel wrapped. My tweeters now are in the kicks along with the 3" mids and the 6 1/2's are in the doors. Hands down the best setup I've every ran (and most expensive). Speakers should all be pretty much broken in by now, I have to do a re-tune pretty soon and get it all dialed in nice.

My passenger door armrest should be done very soon, then it's pretty much complete except that I need to build an amp rack for my amp and x-over's. After that I'll probably be getting 3 8" subs to round out the new system.
