yeah it seems like a good idea to reduce it right at the coupler, and then have it go through a magnaflow 2.5 cat. I think I'll do that. It seems way easier that way too, I can just have them fabricate a flange, shouldn't cost THAT much.

BB6 Cluster installed!

I FINALLY got it put in last night....but I think i'm gonna have to take it back out again and maybe fix the wiring....since it was a compression fit it was kinda tight to put the dash trim back on and I think I might have damaged one of the solder points for the wires in the process:

All i cut was the left side portion...where the old cluster kinda screwed into and I shaved the top portion a bit.

The PRND321 doesn't light up at all it just stays dark no matter what position the key is in. But I'm not too bummed about that.

All the other lights work fine: highbeams, blinkers, oil, SRS, ABS, BRAKE. But its just that seatbelt and batt. light are kinda weird, I'm gonna double check the wiring to see if anything is loose, I'll prob. pull it back out and do a better job of cutting the back too. I was at the guy's house who did my engine swap since he's good w/ wiring and stuff: for that VTEC and Alarm light. I never managed to get the alarm light to work though....maybe you need a factory alarm for it to funct.? idk

I also managed to break my cig. lighter...well the plastic around it so now it kinda doesn't sit in the dash like it did. I'm just gonna wait for a warmer day....it was like 35-40 degrees out last night when we were doing it...started at like 9pm and got done at 530AM! yeah and I had to drive 55miles home from his house and work at 745am that day lol. So i'm kinda tired. But here's some pics I took:














^^^this is when I first plugged it all up w/o installing it, you can see all the lights come on like it should, but after I put it in, the CEL doesn't self check like it should and I think whenever the seatbelt isn't in, the BATT light is also on w/ the seatbelt light but they are both very dim compared to how they normally are...I think i might have a broken solder joint by compressing it too much so yeah i gotta look into that.


^^^this is driving on the way home...so all the gauges work fine....except for the PRND321 stuff. But you can also see that the batt. light and the CEL are on, but very dimly lit...my bad...I shouldn't have done this at night.

That is a damn nice looking cluster, Ive never seen one lit up. The needles are sharp.

My AEM fuel Rail is almost ready to install!

So today browsing my local AZHT.net honda forum, I found a guy selling an AEM rail and AEM FPR. I asked if he'd part it out and he agreed! So I got a kick ass deal on an AEM FPR that matches my Red AEM fuel rail perfectly!

I also Installed my Leather wrapped Vigor steering wheel w/ the 4th Gen prelude airbag to make it all match, texture wise haha. I didn't want anymore of that vinyl stuff on my wheel anymore.




^^^not bad for 35 bucks, the regulators normally go for like 170 right?

^^^the Vigor cruise buttons even work in place of the CB7 ones....and its now got a cancel button in the mix lol

I'm going to get one made for my H23 here soon after i take the head to machineshop for the 2nd time...when i totalled my coupe i was hit so hard that my timing belt came off..

yeah I'm having doubts on that header though...its REALLY hard to make it work in the CB7 chassis. But I won't quit....once I get that leak fixed I'll put her back on.

Found a Neuspeed strut bar...too bad it won't fit on my H

I'm kinda sad, but I couldn't pass on the opportunity...i found a guy selling a Neuspeed strut bar locally and had to get it, just to see it in person. But I can't believe how LIGHT it is, its only like 5 lbs it seems like. Welds are great too. Its a finely crafted piece of metal haha.
