I'm suprised nobody has looked into this option for the accord chassis before. I finally got a quote on my synchrotech built T2W4.$2375+ cost of T2W4.
      T2W4 $1200
      WPC $500
      Carbon master kit $699.95
      4.64 FD $579.95
      .787 5th $195
      Labor $400
      OmniPower 21mm s2000 clutch master cylinder $175
      Hybrid racing shifter $379
      Hybrid racing rsx cables $349.99
Hybrid racing k2h cable adapter $49.99
      Shipping for HR stuff $13.71
Competition clutch super single $800 (only weighs 18.5lbs with flywheel)
      ESP traction bars $450
      TTL invested: $5792.59
That's before jumping into the suspension good.
I'd love to invest about 8k into my dx chassis then just drop in the engine from the lx with a 3" exhaust, a 70mil throttle body with a 3.5" ram air intake and maybe a few cheap tricks to hit 200-210whp in a 2300lb cb7.

Wow, that's all really well thought out. I wish I made more money to put something like that together. Damn. I got to set more goals soon.

I was thinking of getting. KTuned shifter assembly. It looks like it might bolt right up.

It takes some fab work. But not bad overall.

Do you think ill have issues with finding support for my automatic build, in regards to tuning? Like software or just tuners in general? None of my hometown friends support my build so I'm wondering if there exists a community of auto builders out there...

Fortunately the cb chassis accord has a completely seperate transmission system. So if you want to keep an automatic you are good. I do recommend switching to a jdm lsd h22 auto trans. It is made for more power and is geared better, plus they're fairly cheap because everyone goes 5spd.

Thanks for the support accorn! I'm glad this website is around for motivation and support.

So this trans will bolt up and mate without any changes necessary to mounts? And with it ill probably expect to see the final cruise rpms to be higher in the 3000 then right? I've been seeing that most of the H trans (manual) cruise around 4000. Still trying to wrap my head around that chart but I notice the 4th gear is. 653 compared to f22b and the reduction is higher so it probably will still cruise around 3000? Is it the mp1a or mp0a? These are the codes I remember off the top of my head because I think I tried to research thos before but couldn't understand it yet.

                  I believe it is the MPA1 and with a 205/55/15, 70mph will be 3100rpm.

On another note I finally fixed my intermediate shaft. For the past 4yrs I've had a 90-91 accord intermediate shaft and the front end felt mushy, wheel hop has been terrible and my driver side axle would walk out about 3/4" and cause bad vibration. Well last week I thought,"maybe they're different". Well guess what, they are by almost an inche. The 92-93 cb intermediate shaft is longer. I also replaced my torque mount bracket on the engine. So now it seems to be putting power down much more efficiently. Yesterday after I fixed it I launched it for the first time in a while and it was a smooth, controlled light spin and it just accelerated like it was launched out of a slingshot.

this is what a hard launch does with traction, lol.

also the h22 is running in the lude. why would you trade for this?

finally found out how he got it for $350. he had to give the f23 and $350. what a dummy. Apparently only one crank
journal and two rod journals were bad. The guy is putting the head on his f22 and boosting it.

So basically he still has to rebuild the motor? And even though its a h22, it will be slower over his f23 in its stock form.It would have been better if he opted for the rebuilt f23

That's what I said. I told him h22's aren't bad, that ONE is bad. It runs like crap and he gave up more power for less money. If he'd kept the f22/f23 setup we could have thrown a stock f23 short block under his head after we found out the head was good and made atleast 190-195whp. Now he's lucky if that h22 will even stay together long enough for him to drive it for another month.

I won't need to swap the transmission mount at all right? and will any year transmission work, as long as it is marked MP1A (regardless of whether it came from an obd1 or 2 motor)? I ask in concern for the sensors that are attached to the transmission.

Thank you very much for the guidance JDM92, it really means a lot to get support from this community for my auto build.
