built 6 bolt, that will never happen.

for facts sake, the 98 eclipse came with a 4 piece self adjusting thrust bearing that prevents crank walk, its the same design evo's are still using.
And less than 3% of all 4g63t engines have had crankwalk issues. It's more fear than reality.

I went to the dsm shoot out last year and only saw 2 gsx's there. Have ya ever been there before?

The gsx and the vr4 were one of the cars I was considering to get before I got my teg.

Nice run though. I like your GSX. Clean and simple to me. Just needs some yellow fogs... My ex-girl had a RS i/h/e and it was fun to drive. I can only amagine the AWD+turbo must be nice...

no honk.. for some reason when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd it doesn't fast enough and on every run will shoot flames out the tail pipe twice between the shift, and have 2 knocks of almsot 2 degrees.

i bet i have more consistant runs than you..

I dunno if ya'll have noticed or not but yeah i use to be all about 5 speed, whoowhoo,, but it got old, as did the performance clutches in big city traffic. My cars Are daily drivers, everyday.... 5 speed is fun but gets old.
and on a strip, i say auto all the way. people make fun of it alot, but lets see how funny it is when we line up.

a guy I work with had a ...93...98??? not sure of what year he said...stock turbo eclipse. I was like "awd huh?" and he didn't know...I thought all the 90's turbo eclipses were awd?

ANY hoo recently..."something" happened to the suspension and the wheel is cockeyed...got left at a gas station...impounded.

If I had a place to put it I'de try and find it...just use all the turbo stuff from it...but I don't have such a palce right now so it'll have to pass.

I'm still thinking of that though...I was thinking you might be interested...it's in north east texas so prolly not in your neck of the woods...course I imagine by this point there's not much your could use from that car for yours

GST are fwd turbo and GSX are awd turbo. Keele's body type is from 95-99 if i (slight differences in the 95-96 and 97-99). The gen before that also had GST and GSX.
