What was one of the first things I said. The only way you could have won was if the driver screwed up. So obviously thats what happened. PAY ATTENTION!! The fact remains that if you had the same driver drive your car and a Z06 the Vette would win. Not to mention you had to put all this extra time and money into a HONDA. why didnt you just throw it in the trash. You can go and buy an old vette or other american car, which are more fun to drive, for next to nothing and smash ricers all day.

I am stuck driving an accord, for now, but I didnt start this whole argument. I came to this site to find some performance mods i could do to my honda while i have it. Then I came across this bull post. You all are just pissed off because some one finally called you out on your lies.

Wow! Look at where this thread has gone. It started out with 2point6 simply telling us about his kill stories. Innocent enough, right? So, now we have gigante arguing about the integrity of the story. Gigante, the evidence is all here. He is telling the truth. You are entitled to believe what you want, but just look at the evidence. I am not trying to bash on you at all, all I am asking is for you to be more open minded. I respect domestics, and I know that a lot of domestic guys respect imports. But, what really surprises me is the fact that I have met many domestic guys who do not give any import any respect. It doesn't matter if the import runs consistent 11's all day, the domestic guy will not give the car any respect. I feel that this is very narrow minded. In the long run, it all comes down to opinion. You feel that 2point6 is lying, and you are entitled to your opinions. But, the truth is, there is substantial evidence that he is not lying. Either you do not see it, or you are choosing not see it. In conclusion, all I ask Gigante to do is to be more open minded of 4 cylinder cars (2point6's car in particular). There is no question that if the Z06 had a better driver, it could have won. But, in the race, 2point6 was the better driver. So, in turn, 2point6 won. It is a legitimate win, and I do not see why you do not see it that way. Gigante, please try to give credit where credit is due.

wow.. i'm not sure if this even qualifies as a debate. the definition for debate given by the mw dictionary is "to discuss a question by considering opposed arguments". Lets clear something up

I can respect what 1CrawlinAccord and Accordtunerx said because they come across very respectful. I like that. But the reason some domestic guys dont respect imports is because it is more about money. A guy can buy a new import for around $20,000 then he puts thousands more into it of all bolt on type parts. While a domestic can be bought for under $10,000 and by doing a little reseach and engine work you can have twice the hp and better E.T. than imports. I understand that some import guys do actual engine work the majority is whom ever has the most money has the fastest car. You drive down the road and you see way to many "fast and Furious" wannabees who think putting stickers and a spoiler on a FWD car, which makes no sense, makes it go super fast.

Before you make an ATTEMPT to insult someone, work on your english. It is presence not precense and believe not beleive. And dont try to blame it on typo's. But to get back on topic, Many of the old muscle cars have A/C and if it doesnt you can always add it. The only ones that have rust are the ones nobody takes care of. Honda's can and do have rust. I have seen some early 90's hondas with more rust than some 70's cars.

...and this import/domestic shit is insane. OF COURSE you can make a domestic sportscar faster with less money!....but will you be unique? hell no. you'll just be another prick with a loud car and 12 second slips. big deal, anyone can do it. fuck, my mom has a '72 Camaro with a built 350 and run's 11s! does making a honda fast cost a lot? shit yeah, especially those of us with accords. why do we spend all this money instead of buying a domestic....because we want to be different and stand out.

First I was extemely respectful with you until you started bashing back and not listening to what anyone was saying, you where and are being very one sided.

Second don't change the subject AGIAN, I have always been on topic, you are the one that's all over the place saying this, that, and the other tring to prove your incorrect point.

Don't tell me to work on my engish, I've been speaking it for quite some time, maybe my typing could use some help as I don't type as fast as I think and sometimes don't come out correctly but that doesn't mean I don't know how to spell.

I know plently about domestics, in fact just recently I helped the person I work with finish his 1989 Mark VII which took fast E/T and fast MPH this last weekend at the Mustang Impala show down just north or Atlanta. All of that and with only high gear (valve body issues).

I am having a extremely hard time reading that last post by BustedLX because it has such poor engligh. But to what limeaccord, that is complete bull. Drive down the street and you see dozens of people who throw money in their import but you very rarely see a domestic that someone fixed up. Obviously out of these few you mostly see vettes and mustangs. But how about an old Charger or Challenger. How about a Galaxie or an old Grand Prix. The reason they can run 12's or better is because their is actual engine work done on them not just bolt-ons.
