Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

      need to know decision:

      Decision Time:
      I have a stock H23 and stock F22.
      I still wanna boost.

      Should I
      A. Boost the H23 if it blows, throw F22 in unboosted
      or
      B. Boost the F22 it it blows, throw H23 in unboosted

      decisions suck!!!

            welll...

new h23 from parts masta, has been broken down for inspection.
everything looks phenomenal. there was a lil dirt in the dipstick.
but when I pulled it apart. engine is pretty amazing.
very very clean and looks like original driver babied it.
so I will be boosting the H23! hells yah!

next steps are to get the engine clean and decide if I want to paint it or what?
thinkin no paint, but we shall see... I kinda liked the red engine.
            but considering bronze color.

sounds promising steve. bronze would probably look good since your car is black.

clean block. then repaint stock color. hmmm wonder how close I can find that.

only cause last time I painted everything red.
so after sanding down would be easier to spray stock color.

yah i was just lookin through engine bays,
and I think that a good cleaning and it will look pretty good.

tranny is black right now. think I might leave it that way.

You sir have bad luck with blowing motors. +2 for build one. IN the meantime, boost a stock motor. Why not boost?
