Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

yah we will see this weekend.

has anyone removed the oil cooler where the oil filter goes?

just curious cause I ordered the fitting for without the oil cooler.
is that all I need. I hope it works that way and I do not need an oil cooler.

i like to use oven cleaner, it's awsome at removing oil and grease, spray it on heavy, walk away for ten minutes spray it off, then do it again use a scuff pad and get in the crevises and pray it off again. done.

nice man, I will give that a shot as well.

this engine is a pain to clean.
but it is coming along so nicely that paint is not needed.

i swaped my non-oil cooler fitting for an oil cooler. it should be alot shorter than the oil cooled fitting you took out.

yes I understand that. my only concern was that the threads are different.
hoping honda was smart and kept the same thread size and pitch.

I wish we had a place around here that sold AN fittings.

I have been ordering a lot of them little by little.
and now the cap is the wrong size.
                              sucks. but whatever.

at least I know now it is an -8AN fitting.
