Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

im not exactly sure where the O2 sensor is on an LX but isnt it on the manifold it self? if so then you are going to have to obviously get rid of the whole exhaust manifold.

If you use the stock DSM o2 housing as a start to your downpipe then it has an o2 bung in it you can use. and no the DSM o2 housing will not hit anything if thats what you were asking....

o0 aite thanks. and oh yea where does the hose coming from your oil pan connect to? i know you have to T off the oil feed to the turbo

      Comment

the line that goes TO the oil pan is the "oil return line". what happens is you tap the oil pressure sensor to get a positive oil pressure feed, and then when the oil goes through the turbo the oil return line feeds it right back into the oil pan

you will see on the turbo that there are 2 holes (could be 4 holes if its water cooled) for the oil lines..the hole that is on top is for the oil feed. the hold thats on the bottom of the turbo is for the oil return. you just run a line from the bottom hole to the oil pan

another idea..get a block adapter 4 the oil filter. it gives you 3 holes to use for that stuff..no cutting necessary..

i got mine from a guy on homemadeturbo.com , 'Stealthmode' is his name.

you can buy them from his web site, www.stealthmodeperformance.com but i think if you contact him through HMT its cheaper. i got mine for $75 shipped.

of course you could always just buy everything you need seperately

home depot? what the hell are you talking about?...there not going to have the proper adapters...and certainly not for $12
