yeah Idk, the ad just was for 3? lol The guy must've lost the 4th one over the years, he said it rolled off somewhere.

you said it came red liek that from the dealer.

was this a option??? why did they do this, i never heard of a oem from honda bein painted from the dealer.
To my knowledge it is OEM. The lines are crisp and its almost like its powdercoated on there. The prelude was red, so it was probably color matched to the car I'm thinking. But OE or not, it wasn' done by the kid I got it off of, lol, he didn't really look like a professional or a person who tinkers around w/ painting wheels.

Found some RSX Black Leather Seats!

I recently came across some new seats for my CB7, Instead of some knockoff racing seats, I figured these would be WAY better.

I like the Driver height adjustment and the lever seat tilting mechanism instead of twisting the knob. There's also a lumbar adjustment lever too! Plus they're REAL leather! So excited to put them on....all I have to do is get the stock RSX brackets off the rails and then weld some custom ones bent to fit my CB7 locations...shouldn't be too hard.

          But here's the pictures!

^^^mmm black perforated leather...should be easier on me when summer comes back around

Still haven't put those RSX seats in, they're just chillen in my living room haha.

But I DID do a complete front end refresh of the suspension/brakes within the past two weeks.

                  New:

                  Upper Control Arms
                  Lower balljoints
Outer tierods (warrantied out since old boots were cracking)
                  Front wheel bearings
                  Rotors
                  Pads

Car drives so much better now.

I bought some Driveshaft shop axles, but I sent them in to the company to get looked over b/c they had some issues...might possibly need new grease since they're over 5 yrs old they said. So I'll have them inspect them, send them back and put those in and it'll drive a lot better....currently getting a shudder on accel from 25-30mph.

no, haven't touched it since you came over lol. I did hijack the bolts for the brakes for my car though lol. But got new JY ones a week later to replace them with.

I'm getting off school for a month from Dec to Jan, so I plan on fixing everything in that span of time. It'll be running before 2011! is my plan anyways

Found a NEUSPEED Honda bolt cover for the front plate at the JY

Decided to polish it as best as I could since it's billet aluminum. Here's some pics:

When I first started...had a BUNCH of scratches and a dull finish

right side is cut/ground slightly with an impregnated emery stone using my Dremel

whole thing cut with emery stone

polishing compound applied using felt pad accessory on Dremel

final polish at 30,000 RPM using a clean felt pad

End result...all scratches removed and a nice finish...still need another accessory to get that mirror finish

not bad for a little Dremel tool

back side is really shiny, didn't really spend a whole lot of time since no one will see it once its on the car...just cleaned it up some

Here's some installed pics of my RSX seats and the Neuspeed plate cover

Here's some snap shots just now, its dark so the flash kinda kills the lighting but I think they still look good

^^Driver side has adjustable height and lumbar too! which I think is a cool feature.

here's that bolt cover all mounted up:

Wow, the RSX seats look amazing (and comfy). Whats' the deal with the base of the seatbelts though? I understand why they're attached to the seat, but I've never seen anything like that leather piece at the bottom. Was that somethign you did?

That Neuspeed bar turned out nicely for a JY find. Now all you need is the strut bar.
