yep thats right,
broke a rod bearing into 4 pieces. and was showing wear on 3 main bearings, after using lucas 10w40 oil.
that crap wore down thinner than water in under 4 days, heck it didn't even look like oil.
Don't use it, or this will happen.

Anyways, while I have the engine out, I'm going with wiseco pistons .20 over, and anoth.20over for those pistons clearence.
I'm port matching my head, getting stainless valves. 272 hks cams
possibly a 100mm crank if mine is not salvagable, to go ahead and make a 2.3l stroker out of it.
new water pump, etc...........I'll post more details when I have time.

On the way, because plans changed a hair. Mahle forged pistons 85.5mm 9:0:1 with side skirt protection, mainly because I had good luck on the H22 build with them,

Nice I love DSM's me and my buddy have a silver 97 gst on chromies that we built. 6 bolt swap 750 rc injectors with a 20g on 20 psi tuned on dsm link. We actually been consider picking up everything to do the awd swap.

I have yet to hook up my calipers, but i agree they seem to be too long. This makes since, considering he designed these for his VR4/3000gt, and they seem to be a little wider cars.

I wouldn't say rip off. but definately a honest opinion of problems vs price.

Someone like myself who had little knowledge about brakes, this seemed ideal, As I learned I did realize it's not hard it's as simple as any other modification. I couldn't find any threads like this when re-searching, or any videos. So I figured this could help someone in the future to make a clear and understanding mind set when purchasing.
