craig, I looked up that code and it will either be a bad sensor, or a bad tcu. I have a p19 tcu sitting if u just want to try that out to make sure that it isn't the tcu. diagnostic is gonna take take time measuring voltages and getting resistance checks at the sonsor, harness, and at the pcm to the tcu, etc.

Man i hope its not a bad TCU Thanks Joe, I got a spare TCU somewhere from my cb7..
I'll let you know what comes about. Today I'm going to change out the counter shaft speed sensor and see if that cures the blinking d4 light..
alright my car does lil hicups on the freeway and its starting to become more frequently.
it usually happens when im driving on the freeway, my car tends to bog like i hit a fuel cut. i had similar symptoms before and i replaced the cap and rotor about 2 months ago, now its at it again.
check the spark plugs and they looked normal
the wires looked normal
what else can it be?
i have similar problems with my car, my mechanic told me it could be something in the distributor.
make sure the connections on the igniter is tight.

my turn with the problems..
my car feels like i've lost a lot of torque. would i lose so much torque due to exhaust leaks on the downpipe? I feel the car's acceleration sort of cut back at around 3-4k rpm. usually worse when it's on a hot day. makes me feel i'm driving in an F again.

My trip odometer stopped working on the TL. It has the rotating numbers like the cb, so I was hoping maybe someone knew if it is possible to fix it? I haven't had the chance to take out the cluster and look at it myself.
