yup h23!

no paint. very good cleaning.

and no boost just yet.
going with the h23 N/A install.
run it for a month get all the little bugs worked out.
then boost it.

figure this way I will know if something is going to have an issue or not.

I was able to spend an hour today on h23 cleaning.
the entire engine had grease/oil thoughout.
was pretty much black.

block and head inspected all in very good shape.
took off IM and other random parts to start cleaning.
Just want it up and running by Mar.

used some wallmart engine degreaser for step 1 with a copper wire brush.
I am now looking for engine cleaning remedies, and suggestions.

steve take a look in m.r. thread later this weekend i just scoth brighted my block then hit it with the VHT aluminum it looks fukin clean...and after you get the car running you just hit it with a damp rag and bling..plus its nice you can track down leaks easy as shit ...im all about the paint...cant wait to see what you got in mind for the H should be fun,to bad your not over here. i would get my hands dirty on your build..anyways hit me up if you need anything i have a few good connections for parts and shit like flanges..i buy wholesale

nice man, going to drop the engine in without boost.
make sure it runs good then boost it.

just ordered a cap for my oil pan turbo return.
and a bisi intake manifold gasket.
now I need a piece of medal so I can keep my turbo manifold since I had an extra dsm turbo I took the V-band off and gunna cap it so I do not have to redo exhaust.

thinkin about removing all spacers and gutting intake plenum.
what are your thoughts of that?
might also try the VHT aluminum, send me a pic man!!!!

after cleaning, need to redo rear main seal, camshaft seals and balance shaft seals.
water pump , timing belt. then it is install time.

just installed my ESP traction bar and 3 pt front upper strut. should help nicely.

68mm throttle body for like 125..
i talked to spiker about your intake mani we get where your going with it.
its a n.a. thing but the short answer is just turn the boost up.. i will shoot you those pics soon

74mm is to big the intake he is using is only 68mm why not use the 68mm tapered to 70mm made by P.B.tuning guys name is chris m. he is a mod on real home made turbo cool guy just pm him

haha sean, was a buddy that worked for extreme psi in sales dept.
he is no longer on the sales floor.

but he is seeing what he can do to hook it up for someone else, so I shall let you know!!!

right now, it sits needing:
engine cleaning
water pump
oil pan gasket
exhaust manifold gasket

then it will be thrown in for sure. just need to get some time.
trying to have the h23 in by Jan 18. we shall see.
