alright ive already posted enough, so i wont bore you guys with more and more pictures of the same engine bay over and over.
got the final 2 cans of white paint (that makes 8 total... damn) and finished the bay. laid a coat on areas that needed it to cover the remaining flaws and such. also did the top radiator support piece.
peeled all the tape off, im pleased with the result, clean and shiny. has a good enough gloss for being out of a can, enough to make it easy to wipe clean in the future.
heres two final pics of the bay before i start working on other things.
BOTTOM: old one. yes, this is how dirty most of my engine bay was...
TOP: new bar i got from maple like.. last year. never knew it would come in handy (original one was bent and dented and stuff). clearly shows how clean the new paint is!

no new pictures as of right now, but i took the intake manifold completely apart and started cleaning it. got to take a close look at the iacv adaptor plate that 93accordEX made, pretty nifty little piece of work.
got a call from jhp-usa, apparently they dont have the chrome coated Supertech Race valves in stock that i ordered, so they are sending me the upgraded black nitride coated ones for no extra cost. sweet. im going to strip, clean and paint the valve cover tonight and hopefully start pulling the old valves out if i find a good valve spring compressor.
next week on my half day im going to stop at the dealer and pick up all new valve stem seals and the remaining couple seals for the block that i dont have yet.
btw, does anybody know of any mid 90's MR2's being parted out, either personally or at a local junkyard? theres a certain part that i need from one, i need it before i can put my motor back in. and i cant find this part ANYWHERE...Last edited by cp[mike]; 07-18-2006, 01:39 PM.

what are you going to do with the power steering lines? keep it the same, or loop and plug elsewhere?
