it's good to see the project moving so fast. i wouldn't expect anything else from you though. can't wait to see it once it's done.

this F22 will forever be at your cellar door. hasn't moved an inch since i was there over 2 months ago.

talked to Aldo, the head should be done by the end of tomorrow, so ill be picking it up on thursday after work. so ill be putting the motor in soon after, hopefully over the weekend. he said its in great condition, no wear anywhere, everythings clean. so it should be smooth sailing from there

This is possible one of the best documented engine builds I've seen picture/format wise so far for an Accord. Keep up the good work Mikey. Your vision is coming true...good feeling, huh?

thanks my fellow Mike M. its coming true, slowly... its feels pretty good... though of course i pick out every little flaw when i look at it. ill feel accomplished for a good while. ill work on the rest of the car, but when im done with that, i think im going to end up digging into the engine bay again... with how stripped out its going to be, its pretty effortless to pull the motor out. id like to eventually weld up all the holes and smooth the bay out, and give it a real paint job with clearcoat. but thats in the future someday, i have too much other stuff to worry about working on.

thanks larry... glad you stopped by, made me realize it was the perfect time to head up there...

its 2am and im back inside. i made some good progress. i put the motor in! i also put a lot of the stuff back on the firewall, the fuel filter, brake and clutch lines, heater valve, misc other stuff. im picking up the head tomorrow right after work, then coming home and putting that on im going to buy a SS braided clutch line to replace the rusted old rubber line, im going to have to rush deliver it so i can get this put together asap...

its strange working on it and trying to keep it clean, like i cant lean over the engine bay and put my hand on the strut tower.

                            on to the pics

                            the obligatory LSD pic:

It's awesome following the progress with this.

Ahh... LSD very nice. It must be hard trying to work on things without getting other stuff dirty. I'm sure you are washing or wiping your hands clean every few minutes.

Is that a Purolator Pure One filter?
