unfortunately i havent even popped the hood of my car in quite a while, since the last update. ive been so busy with other things, im fixing up two other cars at the moment, and its kicking my ass timewise and wallet wise. buying two cheap cars for 500 takes a lot of time and work getting them to a point where they are worth 2000 or more. im also completely redoing my room, building a deck w/ lofted bed, and cleaning up all my shit out of the garage and building a shed.

ill be able to work on it soon i hope... but its getting cold and i have to focus more and more on getting these two cars sold before winter.

soon... soon there will be good news. when i get a good day to focus on it and get it done.

i never thought id say it, but my CB is on the back burner.

Damn mike i wish i lived around the corner from you man.....i love doing productive shit....id be at your house everyday banging on ur door like lets go we got shit to build and cars to finish..lol....ehhh well good luck with the projects and hopefully you find the time to get the cbs up and running.....i know what not having time for wrenching feels like....i havent been able to do a damn thing because ive been on nightshifts for ever and they switch it up with 12 hour shifts so basically i can never find the time to wake up a decent time to fully envolve myself in the cb.

PureONE is a very good filter. Bosch and Puralator are the same now.

What did you end up doing for the passenger side tuck? any pics? Where did you get the new rubber ac lines? (fuzzy ones make my skin itch!) keep up the good work.

                  thanks

i didnt go into detail about the passenger side because once you start pulling it out, youll find its basically already all separated up and its easy to tell which wires to put out thru the fender.

heres pics of the holes i drilled for the wiring (page 11 of this thread):

and as far as the rubber AC lines, thats what they look like under that insulation and the metal crinkle cover... stiff wire cutters or just peeling it off its pretty easy to remove, and theres fresh rubber lines inside. im not scared about the lack of A/C line insulation, because ive seen a number of newer cars with just the rubber line, as well as just 4th gen preludes. i dont use the a/c enough that perhaps blowing a bit warmer would make a usability difference.

cars still on jackstands without wheels/bumper, and its still running on a bootleg wiring harness. still a number of hours of finishing work to do, but it RUNS.

the only problem keeping it from running (besides the obvious spark issue) was the MAP sensor. i rewired up an extra one and its up and running.

not perfectly, a misfire or something, timing might be off... but again, much easier issues to diagnose and fix.

                              soooooooooooooooooon
